The Story Of Pitlik & Wick
Company History
Building Roads, Building a Legacy
Welcome to Pitlik & Wick, a road construction company that has built more than just roads. It has built a legacy on quality, craftsmanship, and a deep-rooted commitment to our community. Founded in April of 1952 by two brothers-in-law, Clarence Pitlik and Ed Wick, our company was born from a shared vision: to create a construction company that would provide for their families and contribute to the growth of the region.
Today, three generations later, our families continue to carry on Clarence and Ed’s vision, upholding the values they instilled from the very beginning. We are proud to be a family-owned and operated company that remains rooted in our small-town community—a place where hard work, dedication, and integrity are the pillars of our success.
At Pitlik & Wick, we believe that building roads, and everything associated with them, is far more than simply collecting a paycheck. It’s a way of life, a passion for craftsmanship, and something to be truly proud of. Each project we undertake is an opportunity to leave a lasting mark on the community. This very mindset is what has helped us become a trusted and respected name in the road construction industry for over 70 years.
Our company culture is deeply shaped by our small-town roots. We understand the value of a handshake, the importance of keeping your word, and the strength that comes from working together. We strive to exemplify these values in everything we do, from the way we treat our employees to the quality of the roads we build.
Our team is comprised of experienced and skilled professionals who share our passion for excellence. From our equipment operators to our project managers, each member of our team takes immense pride in their work and is committed to providing our customers with the highest level of quality and service.
We are honored to have served our community for over seven decades, and we look forward to continuing to provide exceptional asphalt paving and road construction services for many years to come. Thank you for choosing Pitlik & Wick, where we build roads and build them right, with a legacy of quality that lasts for generations.
